The final was a tie and after that the super over was also dropped. Continuing to play the final for the second time, the New Zealand team, batting first, scored 241 for eight wickets in 50 overs. Henry Nicholls contributed 55 and Tom Latham contributed 47 runs. Host England, chasing this goal, lost their four wickets for 86 runs at one time.
